Legend - Opalite is the trade name for opalised glass. It is also sometimes referred to as "Sea Opal Glass". It is not a gemstone but is extremely popular in jewellery designs as it mixes so well with many other colours. Properties - Believed to be a stone of love. Gentle and calming, it is good for meditation. Description - Translucent to milky with a bluish opalescent effect. Sold as temporary strung 35cm (approx) strands.
