Agate - Natural Australian

Legend - Agate is a variegated chalcedony composed of different coloured bands. The stone's name was derived from the River Achates since it was originally discovered there. Agate is one of the most common materials used in the art of hardstone carving, and has been recovered at a number of ancient sites. Archaeological recovery at the Knossos site on Crete illustrates its role in Bronze Age Minoan culture.

Properties - Believed to be a smoothing and calming stone working slowly but bringing great strength. It's multiple layers can bring hidden information to slight.

Description - These natural Australian Agate beads are varying subtle shades of natural greys and browns.. Sold as temporary strung 38cm (approx) strands
