Legend - From the Greek naturalist Theophrastus we learn that the term "achat" was used to describe stones found along the River Achates in Sicility.  Agate refers to stones of the cryptocrystalline variety of quartz known as chalcedony.

Properties - Grey Agate is believed to be a grounding stone, bringing emotional, physical and intellectual balance.

Description - These Grey Agate beads are a uniform colour, the banded variety show colours in a range of greys from very pale to dark. Sold as temporary strung 37-39cm (approx) strands.
