Named after te Greek letter chi (symbol X). Crystals have a carbonaceous inclusions, arranged so that in cross-section they form a dark cross. Many amulets of the “cross stone” were sold to pilgrims. Believed to be a powerful protective stone, used to ward off ill wishes and curses. A creative stone with the power to dispel negative thoughts.
