Elephant Skin Jasper 10mm Round Beads

Also known as Calligraphy Stone or Miriam Stone.  Not a true Jasper, but a natural conglomerate of bivalve shells, sand and limonite from an ancient swamp which was compressed by incredible pressure.. Believed to enable one to keep cool when under pressure. Dark brown matrix with tan inclusions.  Due to the varying hardness of these two materials, the coin beads in this range have an uneven surface.  Sold as temporary strung 40cm (approx) strands.
