Dalmation Jasper

Legend - Jasper was a favourite of ancient times.  A microcrystalline variety of Quartz which often contains organic material and tin oxides which account for its interesting patterns and colours.

Properties - Believed to be a protective stone against evil spirits and forces.  It is said to bring courage and relief from pain.

Description - As its name implies, it is an opaque white to grey stone delicately spotted with brownish and black spots - reminiscent of a dalmation  Sold as temporary strung 40cm (approx) strands.
