RUBY ZOISITE BEADS
Legend
Named for the mineral collector Siegmund von Zois, who discovered this gemstone in
1804 in Austria. Also known as “Anyolite” from the Massai for green. If this stone
is exposed to the air for long periods it may dry out or fade. Rub with baby oil
and allow to absorb overnight. Wipe off with clean cloth.
Properties
Healers in Asia have been using Zoisite for centuries for communication with the
spirit world as well as healing.
Description
Striking contrast between the bright green zoisite with inclusions of dark hornblende
and chatoyant red ruby. Sold as temporary strung 40cm (approx) strands.
