FOSSIL CORAL AND WHITE CEYLON SAPPHIRES PENDANT
To make this eye catching pendant, I hand cut and polished a large Charoite cabochon,
38 x 28 mm (1.5 x 1.1 inches) and set this in a hand crafted sterling silver pendant
with two amethysts, one 3mm facetted and one 6mm cabochon.
The top of the pendant
features a "sweep" of heavy 2mm polished silver with a further silver decoration
at the side which cradles the smaller amethyst.
The back of the pendant has been hammer
textured and pierced with the hammer texturing being used to decorate the bail.
